Salam.
If you can cross a street in NYC, you will survive any where else. I can't even tell you how many times I have encountered a greyhound bus or taxi cab slam its breaks two inches before my knees.
Despite the constant city-style cussing, aggressive driving, and threats shouted at you from countless street vendors, NYC is the place to be. It was my first time in the city alone without family, and the independence was overwhelming (in a good way).
As I promised last night, I would post pictures up from my experience as seen below: [Sightseeing below]

anonymous #1: I may not cover my face in public and I wouldn't mind posting pictures including myself in it.
If you know me, most of my pictures are extremely goofy to begin with, but I feel there should be some level of formality in my posts. If those who don't know me put a face to my blog, I might be more cautious of how I express myself publically. Allahu Alim.
Maybe I will, but for now, let's keep it elusive :)

I do not speak arabic nor do I fully understand it, but inshaAllah I hope to accomplish just that in the next few years.
As for writing and reading, I can do that but its almost meaningless when you don't understand.
Fisabilillah means "for the sake of God"
